Kintail Retreats is perfectly placed to explore some of the Highlands’ most iconic scenery and destinations. We are ideally located for visits to the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Glen Shiel, Plockton, and the North Coast 500 route, with countless walking trails, viewpoints, and outdoor activities nearby. Whether you’re looking for mountain hikes, scenic drives, photography spots, kayaking, wildlife watching, or simply quiet days by the loch, there is something here for every pace of escape.

Food, Drinks & Boat Trips

Directly opposite the site is the well-known Kintail Lodge Hotel, offering food, drinks, and a welcoming Highland atmosphere within easy walking distance. The hotel is also a departure point for local boat trips, giving guests the opportunity to explore Loch Duich and the surrounding coastline from the water.

Electric Vehicle Charging EV charging is only permitted using the designated charging facilities. Charging from standard lodge sockets is not permitted for safety reasons.

Local Shops & Supplies The nearest local shops, fuel stations, and amenities are a short drive away. We recommend picking up essentials before arriving if travelling late in the evening.

Wi-Fi Wi-Fi details can be found inside your lodge. While we aim to provide reliable internet access, speeds can occasionally vary due to our rural Highland location we use a Starlink system to provide highest speed possible. All lodges feature a smart TV.
